Date Reminders

Set a reminder directly on a record, without adding a special Dataset element.

Open a record and select Date Reminder. Choose the date, give the reminder a useful title and optionally add a note. The Date Reminders page lists the records you have scheduled and lets you view the record, edit its reminder or remove the reminder without deleting the record.

Notice Center notification

Quiix creates a Notice Center notification one day before the record reminder date. Opening the notification leads to Date Reminders, where the related record can be viewed directly. The server cron is the primary scheduler, while the first authenticated request of each user day provides a fallback check.

Run cron_reminders.php hourly. A sent marker prevents the same reminder date from creating duplicate notices.
