Preset Dropdowns

A Preset Dropdown is a managed option list belonging to a specific Dataset.

Create and manage

Open a Dataset and select Dropdowns. Add the list name, description and options. The same area is used to search, edit or remove that Dataset's dropdown lists.

Using the element

Add a Preset Dropdown element to the Dataset and choose its source with the searchable picker. It can allow one selection or multiple checkbox selections, and options may be sorted alphabetically.

Quick additions

Where the Dataset owner permits it, a user entering a record can add a new option without leaving Add Record.
