Use public entry links safely

Quiix can expose a public entry form so people without a Quiix account can submit information. This is useful for registrations, open feedback, or external collection scenarios.

Current public-entry behavior

• A public link can be shared with external users.
• The form can display a dataset name and description.
• A CAPTCHA question is shown as a security check.
• The submitter's IP address is stored with the submission.

Why CAPTCHA matters

CAPTCHA adds a simple friction layer that helps reduce spam submissions, scripted abuse, and repeated low-value entries.

Why IP storage matters

IP logging gives the owner a basic audit trail for public submissions. In the current direction, public-entry IP information can appear in report previews and in Excel downloads where relevant.
