Create and manage datasets

A dataset is the core container in Quiix. It has a name, an optional description, and a set of elements that define what each record should collect.

Create a new dataset

1. Open Create Set.
2. Enter the dataset name.
3. Add an optional description so users understand the purpose.
4. Build the element structure.
5. Save the dataset.

Structure design notes

• Choose clear labels so reports remain readable later.
• Use dropdown or yes/no fields when you need grouping or analytics.
• Use numeric or amount-style fields when totals matter.
• Keep the field list focused to reduce entry errors.
