Frequently asked questions

Can I create my own dataset structure?

Yes. That is one of the main purposes of Quiix.

Can public users submit data without an account?

Yes, through public entry links when the dataset owner enables that flow.

Does Quiix protect public forms?

Yes. The current flow includes a CAPTCHA question and stores the submitter IP address with the entry.

Can a shared user edit dataset structure?

No. Shared users should be able to add data and review analytics or reports, but not modify structure.

Can shared users access analytics?

Yes, that is part of the current direction for shared datasets.

Can I download records?

Yes. Reports can be downloaded in Excel format.

Will IP addresses appear in reports?

For public-entry records, IP information can be shown in report preview and Excel output when relevant.

Is Likert scale available as a normal dataset element?

Not in the current direction. It has been removed from the general list and can be revisited later in a dedicated survey module.
