Core field types

• Short Text for names, titles and short answers
• Long Text for notes and descriptions
• Number for quantities and scores
• Currency for monetary values
• Date, Time and Date Time for schedules or events
• Email, Phone and URL for contact details
• Dropdown, Radio and Checkbox for controlled options
• File Upload and Image Upload for evidence or attachments

Choosing fields

Use structured fields whenever possible. For example, use Date instead of Text for dates, Number instead of Text for quantities and Dropdown for fixed categories.

Avoid overcomplication

Start with the fields you need now. Add optional fields later when the workflow becomes clearer.
