Create a Dataset

What is a dataset

A dataset is a structured workspace that contains fields and records. Each dataset should normally represent one business process or one collection purpose.

Steps

• Click New from the dashboard
• Enter the dataset name
• Add a clear description
• Save the dataset
• Continue by creating fields for the dataset structure

Naming tips

• Use short but meaningful names
• Avoid duplicate names that confuse users
• Use descriptions to explain purpose, owner or collection scope
